Debbie Miller Visit

3rd and 4th grades were fortunate to have nonfiction author Debbie Miller speak to them about her life and research in Alaska. They were mesmerized by her stories of an uninvited grizzly bear, a friend who dog sleds, and how hard it is to live with 24 hours of daylight.

A few aspiring author students also had the opportunity to chat with Debbie about their own work over lunch.

Visit her webpage at to find out more! Or check out one of her books from our library!
