Josh Elder's visit to Town School: Comics in the Classroom

Comic book artist Josh Elder visited classrooms and teachers yesterday to discuss the "hows" and "whys" of using comics in the classroom.  Josh Elder is an accomplished and award-winning writer across various media. He is best known as the creator of the nationally syndicated comic strip and graphic novel series Mail Order Ninja. He also wrote The Batman Strikes for DC Comics, StarCraft: Frontline for Blizzard Entertainment and an Iron Man novel for Disney Publishing. He served as a writer/developer for the Avengers Initiative video game on the iOS and Android platforms. He devotes most of his time to running the educational non-profit Reading With Pictures, an organization devoted to promoting the use of comics in the classroom.
